30 Weeks Pregnant...
Time to start the countdown! 10...

  • fetal age = 28 weeks
You're 30 weeks pregnant and your precious baby is about 16 inches long and weighs about 3 whole pounds! Those little feet are about 2.5 inches long while the head measures about 3.5 inches in diameter.

From here on out your baby should gain about a half a pound a week. Baby is starting to control his own body temperature as he puts on the fat. The skin is starting to smooth out and the fine downy hair will start to fall off in preparation for the big b-day!

Their bone marrow is now responsible for the red cell production. These red blood cells will continue to assist your baby's body by removing the waste and transporting oxygen. Your baby begins to store iron, calcium and phosphorus.

If you're having a baby boy, his testicles have moved down to the groin area. Baby's eyesight is continuing to develop, and he can respond to changes in light.
